Sports and Clubs
ITT
Electronic Systems offers various
company-sponsored sports and clubs. These
activities provide a wonderful opportunity for
you to get to know your co-workers better in a
social environment.
Bowling League
The Bowling League meets on Thursday evenings
from September to May at the nearby North
Arlington Bowl-O-Drome. The league is open to
all employees, current and retired, and their
adult family members. Teams for the evening are
randomly selected, and bowlers compete for team
and individual prizes.
Basketball
The Basketball season runs throughout the year.
Employees may sign up daily from 6:00 a.m. to
11:50 a.m. for lunchtime basketball games. If
enough players sign up (6), a game takes place
at the east end of the Clifton Facility. League
games are played every Tuesday and Thursday, and
pick-up games are held on Mondays, Wednesdays
and Fridays from 12:00 to 1:00.
Golf
The Golf season runs from April through
September with weekly play and tournaments.
Special tournaments are held during the Spring,
Summer and Fall at some of the finest courses in
the area. The Golf League is open to all
Electronic Systems employees, current and
retired.
Karate Club
The Karate Club is open to all employees.
Training is held Monday through Thursday from 12
to 1:00 p.m. every week throughout the year. The
club’s training room (Dojo) is located at the
east end of the facility on the lower level.
Simply wear sweat pants, sneakers and a tee
shirt.
Softball
Electronic Systems employees have joined
together to represent ITT in the North Jersey
Independent Men’s Softball League. The league,
which runs during the Spring and Summer,
consists of 22 teams from the northern New
Jersey area. The team holds practice on Saturday
mornings and games are played once a week.
Volleyball
The Volleyball season runs from June through
September and begins with a kick-off picnic.
Games are played on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at
6:00 p.m. at the court located at the east end
of the facility. Pick-up games held during
lunchtime and after work continue throughout the

Employee Association
The Employee Association offers employees an
opportunity to enjoy major events and activities
with co-workers and family at discounted rates.
It is open to all ITT Electronic Systems
employees. The group hosts a full schedule of
recreational and education activities throughout
the year.
Toastmasters Club
The ITT Talker’s Toastmasters Club provides
employees with the tools needed for successful
public speaking. Meetings are held the first and
third Thursdays of each month from 12 to 1 p.m.
in the Leadership Room at the east end of the
facility.
Photography Club
The Photography Club meets the second Wednesday
of every month from 12 to 1 p.m. All employees
are invited to participate in the
non-competitive forum that fosters the exchange
of creative energy and enhances photography as a
hobby. Participants can learn different
photography techniques from fellow members.
Events include photo shoots at various
locations, demonstrations and shows. |
