Protecting Lives in
Hostile Environments
In the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, the
skies were filled with strategic, tactical,
special operations and rotary wing aircraft from
U.S. and coalition forces. The skies over these
hostile territories were also densely populated
with highly mobile and accurate threats.
As an international leader in the design,
production and support of airborne Electronic
warfare and electronic systems for rotary and
fixed wing aircraft, the role of ITT’s
Electronic Systems value center is to allow
aircrews to fly into harms way and achieve
mission success.
Very simply, our electronic warfare systems
detect, deny, degrade, and evade lethal
battlefield threats. With our electronic warfare
systems, pilots can see first, understand first
and act first. In Operation Iraqi Freedom, our
electronic warfare products helped protect Army
and Special Forces helicopters, Navy tactical
aircraft, and Air Force strategic and special
operations aircraft.
With over 50 years of multi-platform experience,
ITT holds the distinction of supporting the
broadest range of strategic, tactical, special
operations and rotary wing aircraft during the
most demanding missions.
