Electronic Systems has developed and is
producing the next-generation of self protection
systems for U.S. Navy tactical aircraft.
The ALQ-211 family of systems is being
integrated into international F-16 fighters for

Rotary EW Systems
The
ALQ-211 family of systems provides pilots with the ability to
evade or defeat modern radar directed air defense threats. The
ALQ-211 serves as the common solution for the protection of:
Special Operations CV-22
Special
Operations MH-60 and MH-47
NH-90
maritime helicopter
AH-64D
Apache Longbow helicopter
The
ALQ-136(V)2 radar jammer is an automatic, power-managed system
designed to provide protection for attack helicopters and Special
Operations aircraft. The reliability and effectiveness of the
ALQ-136(V)1/5 was demonstrated during Operation Desert Storm as
individual systems accumulated more than 300 hours of continuous
operating time deployed on AH-64 Apache and AH-1 Cobra attack
helicopters.
The
High Power Remote Transmitter - HPRT provides Army Special
Operations helicopters with the electronic protection required against
advanced RF threats encountered in today's conflict zones. The HPRTs
are being installed on the Special Operations MH-47E and MH-60K
helicopters to operate in conjunction with the ALQ-136A(V)2 pulse
jammer, developed by ITT Electronic Systems and the ALQ-162
continuous wave jammer, developed by Northrop Grumman.
